How do I place an order?
Email orders@legacysearchfile.com, call us, or use the request form. You do not need an account or a portal login, and an order can be as simple as the party names, jurisdictions, and what the attorney asked for.
How quickly will I hear back?
A person confirms every request the same business day during business hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Arizona time. Arizona does not observe daylight saving time, so from March to November we are three hours behind Eastern time, and two hours behind in winter.
How does pricing work?
You pay our service fee plus any filing office fees and costs such as copies and certification, which we pass through at cost. We confirm the total before work begins, so there are no surprises on the invoice.
What are typical turnaround times?
Many state UCC searches and online good standings are same day or next business day. County searches, court searches, and offices that require manual processing take longer. We give you a realistic time for each jurisdiction when we confirm the order, and we tell you right away if an office falls behind.
Can you handle a rush?
Usually. Tell us the real deadline when you send the request. Rush options depend on the filing office, and some states offer expedited service for an added state fee. We will tell you what is achievable before we commit to it.
Which states do you cover?
All 50 states and the District of Columbia. We are based in Arizona and work directly with filing offices and courts nationwide. Where an office requires in-person work, we confirm the time and cost before starting.
How do I send documents?
After you submit a request, reply to our confirmation email and attach the documents. For large or sensitive files, ask and we will send a secure upload link.
Can one request cover several parties and search types?
Yes. Send the whole matter at once. We organize it by party and jurisdiction and deliver one set of results.
Do you provide legal advice?
No. We perform searches, filings, and document retrieval based on your instructions. Search scope, filing strategy, and the legal meaning of results are decisions for your legal team.
How do we set Legacy up as a vendor?
Choose “Set up our firm” on the request form or see new client setup. We send a W-9 and anything else your accounting team needs.
