Information you give us

When you use the request form, we collect your name, firm or company, work email, optional phone number, the services and jurisdictions you select, an optional deadline, the details you write, and how you heard about us. If you email or call us, we receive the information you choose to share.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider records standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and time of request, to operate and secure the site. To prevent spam, the request form stores a one-way, salted hash of the submitting IP address for a short period; it does not store the address itself. The form also records the page you arrived on and any campaign tags in the link you followed, so we know which of our outreach is working.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising cookies. The request form does not set cookies. Your browser may store the page you first visited during your current session so the form can tell us how you found us; that information stays in your browser until you close the tab.

How we use information

We use what you submit to respond to you, scope and fulfill your requests, set up billing, and keep records of our work. We use technical information to protect the site from abuse and to fix problems.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with providers that host our website and email, with filing offices, courts, and service providers as needed to complete work you request, and when the law requires it.

Retention

We keep request records as long as needed for the work, billing, and our legal and professional recordkeeping obligations. Anti-spam data is kept for a short period and then discarded.

Security

The site is served only over encrypted connections. Request data is stored outside the public website, and access is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, or passwords through the form.
